Coverage of women's sports

There are many local and national sports programs that we would like to cover, but, with limited resources, we focus on those which have the largest fan base and widest appeal.

We are sensitive to the fact that fans of women's athletics are just as interested in their teams as are fans of the men. You will occasionally find coverage of women's sports on WRAL-TV, sports radio and WRALSportsFan.com, but there is just not enough time, money and reporters to cover those teams with regularity.
